# Unit / club

> A unit or club is the main working unit under the organization. You create a new unit from the organization overview.

A unit or club is the main working unit under the organization. This is usually where you manage specific members, events, attendance, program, payments, and other day-to-day team work.

You create a new unit from the organization overview, in the list of units / clubs.

### Creating a unit / club

Create a unit in the "Units" section by clicking the "+ NEW UNIT" button (your account may show a different name, for example club).

*Organization > **Units***

A new window then opens where you choose the name of your new unit and its highlight color. Finish creation by clicking the "Create" button.

*Organization > **Units > + NEW UNIT***

After creation, the new unit appears in the list.
