# About Levitio – the people behind the app

> We are Luky and Ondra. We created Levitio in 2019 so leaders can spend more time with children. The story of the product, the team and the community.

## Levitio was born where people use it today.

In units and organizations where people give their time to children.

## We volunteered for the children, not for Excel.

We wanted to see what our work gives children, not spend evenings repeating the same admin tasks. From that need, Levitio was born in 2019.

Over time we found that a good tool does not only save time. It helps a team work with more certainty, collaborate better and pass experience on.

## Technology should support relationships, not replace them.

Levitio exists so people around children keep more space for what matters. We are not only building an information system. We are creating a community tool for the everyday life of groups and clubs.

## How we design Levitio

Technology is a means for us. What matters is that it is safe, simple and actually helps the people around children.

- **Innovation**: We use modern, safe and reliable technology and practices when they let us do things better.
- **Simplicity**: We remove extra steps and routine so Levitio works for people who use it in the evenings, between work, family and the group.
- **Community**: Levitio should support cooperation and relationships between leaders, parents and children — not replace them.
- **Purpose**: We add features where they solve a real problem and make the everyday running of the organisation better.

## The most important part does not fit in a spreadsheet.

Parents across the country thank leaders for the time, care and energy they give to children.
